NAET Therapy: How Does it Work?

With NAET, the practitioner uses a technique called “applied kinesiology”. This is the use of muscle testing (also known as “applied kinesiology) to determine which food or environmental item you are sensitive to and then treat you by correcting the energy imbalance in your body that is causing the allergy. During this treatment, the practitioner will also do some energy work and/or acupuncture in order to strengthen your immune system.

This therapy is also known as NAET for short. However, it should be noted that these letters do not stand for anything in particular and are used simply because they are easy to remember. Technically speaking, Naet stands for “Neuro-Emotional Technique” while NAET stands for “Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Techniques” but most practitioners just stick with Naet Therapy or NAET Therapy since it is easier to remember.

The theory behind this technique is complicated; however, if you have allergies and want to get rid of them, you may find this explanation helpful: When a person eats a piece of an offending food (for example peanuts), his or her immune system will produce antibodies against it. These antibodies bind up certain proteins found in the peanut oil thus making it hard for blood cells to absorb these proteins (as well as other anti-nutrients). This means that over time, these proteins continue circulating around your body instead of being broken down by digestion processes into smaller molecules like amino acids. These large protein molecules then cause all sorts of allergic reactions such as hives or asthma when they enter into your bloodstream and then pass through the walls of your intestines where they can react with other chemicals present there (known technically as mucosal membranes). Once they leave one mucosal membrane (i.e., your mouth), their ability to affect other tissues decreases rapidly because their concentration in your bloodstream drops dramatically once they are no longer attached to another mucosal membrane – such as when they leave through one nostril in order go into tissue inside your nose).

In short, therefore, antibodies created by our bodies against certain foods can continue reacting with those foods even after we stop eating them! As a result, we suffer from chronic allergies – i.e., allergies that never go away on their own no matter how much time has passed since our last exposure to the food we were sensitized against! It’s only logical therefore that if we can administer substances that neutralize these antibodies before being absorbed by our intestines, we can stop allergies from developing! That’s why NAET practitioners test which foods you are sensitive to using muscle testing and then give you those substances during treatment so that any circulating antibodies become neutralized before passing over intestinal walls where they would otherwise cause allergic reactions!

NAET therapy is used to treat chronic allergic conditions of all kinds, including asthma and hay fever, hives, food allergies, chemical sensitivities, and environmental allergies. It can also be used to treat acute allergic conditions such as insect stings and bites.

NAET takes time. Some people with allergies feel an improvement in a few days; others take 3-6 months or more.

How does NAET work?

The NAET practitioner treats the entire patient rather than the specific symptom or condition and uses acupuncture points to balance the body’s energy system. The NAET practitioner also treats any allergies that the patient may have developed from his or her environment by using methods called desensitization and counter-immunization to correct the energy imbalances that caused them.

Desensitization means that the NAET practitioner gives a mild dose of an allergen to your system in order to build up immunity towards it so that your body will no longer react negatively when you come into contact with this substance again. Think of it as immunizing yourself against allergy triggers instead of developing symptoms when exposed to them. This immune system development takes place over several treatments as part of a treatment program called “desensitization” (DST). In one recent study conducted by Energy Medicine Research Laboratories (EMRL) in Las Vegas, researchers found that 87% of their patients who received DST treatments experienced relief from their symptoms within 30 minutes! And 80% reported they felt significantly better within 24 hours! Since these are results from EMRL’s research lab we know for certain that these results are typical among practitioners worldwide who use this type of treatment protocol.

What kinds of things can cause allergies?

Allergies result when a person’s immune system reacts incorrectly to a foreign substance known as an “allergen”. Allergies can have many different origins including food items, chemicals in everyday surroundings such as cleaning products, perfumes, and colognes, cosmetics such as lipstick or mascara, lotions or skin care products containing ingredients like lanolin (which comes from sheep wool), cosmetics made with paraben preservatives (para-hydroxybenzoic acid), fragrances made with phthalates (phthalic acid esters), medications including antibiotics and other pharmaceutical drugs such as penicillin V (penicillin G potassium) which is derived from mold spores and yeast antigens — even vaccines contain proteins derived from eggs or gelatin which some individuals may be sensitive too!

Many people who suffer from severe seasonal allergies also experience other types of health problems year-round: fatigue, headache, congestion, sinusitis, ear infections, joint pain, abdominal pain, digestive problems, asthma, eczema, psoriasis — even cancer! In fact, one study revealed that women who suffered allergic reactions were almost twice as likely to develop breast cancer.

It’s important for anyone suffering from chronic health problems such as these mentioned above to learn how food sensitivities can trigger immune reactions creating different disease states — even cancer. For many years doctors have been diagnosing patients with symptoms like these without ever considering if they could be related to food sensitivity issues causing an allergic reaction within their bodies!

A recent study published by Yale University revealed just how common this problem really is: Of those patients seeking allergy testing at medical centers around the country: 43% tested positive for at least 1 sensitivity.

  • Of those patients who tested positive for 1 sensitivity: 22% tested positive for 2 sensitivities.
  • Of those patients testing positive for 2 sensitivities: 15% tested positive for 3 sensitivities.
  • Among those patients testing positive for 3 immune reactions: 14% tested positive for 4+

In most cases, these types of reactions go undetected because most people continue eating foods they are sensitive to without having any idea what is causing them harm on a daily basis.

This causes inflammation throughout their body which leads directly to autoimmune diseases and chronic illness.
